An Overview:

 The Opportunity School is a non-profit community-based service institution for the mentally challenged children, in service for more than 50 years in Chennai, India. The school provides learning opportunities and training experiences for the age group of 3 to 20yearsbothinacademic,daily living activities and vocational training through integration. An individualized programme plan is meticulously followed to inculcate social behavior and put them into use in everyday living context.

Main Purpose:

To serve Mild, Moderate and Severely challenged children withspecial needs such as Down syndrome, Micro Cephalus, Cerebral Palsy,Autismand ADHD.

Our Programs:

Our programs are early intervention,occupational therapy, play therapy,Special Education(Pre-primary,Primary,Elementary,Secondary, Pre vocational) and Vocational training for both girls and boys.
